“Listening to a ebook learn aloud is such a private, intimate option to expertise the characters and story,” Nyong’o tells PEOPLE. “I wished to relate the audiobook for Sulwe myself as a way to carry to life the characters as I had imagined them in my head when writing the ebook.”
